We cannot believe Rhiwbina's Nat West is to close! We have lived in Rhiwbina for 25 yrs and then we had three banks in the village and a Post Office!!

How are the elderly supposed to manage, who have no internet access and have no means of getting to Llanishen/Whitchurch.

I have used this branch for more than 30 years and the staff call me by my first name, a unrivalled personal touch and I also think natwest should remember it's smaller customers and that just a few years ago it ran a whole campaign based on the fact it was keeping more branches and opening more local branches than any other bank

Another example of banking ignoring local communities. There is no need to close our local branch - the simple reason is to squeeze a minimal further amount of profit. Leave it ther - automate a bit more perhaps?.

I have banked at this branch for 40 years & would miss it & it's friendly staff very much. Also,it is convenient,whereas to drive & park in either Whitchurch or Llanishen would be very difficult. Rhiwbina definitely needs a bank now that the post office & Principality have gone. What about all the elderly people who don't drive & who don't use on line banking?

Please keep Natwest open! As a local business owner I know a lot of the elderly members, as well as me as a business banker rely on local services.

I cannot believe the reason for closing this branch is reduced footfall. I use this branch regularly and invariably have to queue. I seem to remember them being inundated with new customers following the closure of the HSBC branch. This is just an excuse and once more Rhiwbina is seen as a soft target. 1st the post office, then the Principality, then HSBC now Natwest. Why Rhiwbina, while both Llanishen and Whitchurch villages have any number of banking institutions and yet they are not targeted.

Why is Rhiwbina always singled out for closures such as this. We have already lost our post office, building society etc in the past. Not to mention the ongoing threat to our Library. Other areas such as Llanishen, Whitchurch and Llandaff North escape unscathed

Although I do not bank at NatWest, I know many local people do. Older people in particular, prefer to bank in the traditional way & in many cases are not able to use online banking.

This is the last financial business left in Rhiwbina, it would be very sad for the village if this closes.
