This is just part of a trend amongst all banks but what it means is that we will end up taking out accounts elsewhere and NatWest will loose more business. At least some banks and building societys realise that you do need to keep some human presence in some locations to help those who don't have on line banking or want to have face to face service.
Pretty poor when you you consider how much money we poored into RBS to keep them going.

I use this bank every week to help with my personal account.
Staff are wonderful. Always pleasant.
Would be a travesty to lose this Natwest!

Closing the only bank in Rhiwbina, where there is a large population of elderly people, would be a big mistake and a hindrance to the community.

This bank is always busy and relied on by business and community. Many older residents switched from Barclays when it closed. Banks are seeming to forget they have our money and should provide a service.

They are our communities banking-line and it is imperative they remain part of the village. I have been a customer of the NAT WEST for more than 40 years and I feel strongly it should stay. We have a lot of elderly people here who do not have the internet and their banking is done face to face.
