Professor Wender is a wonderful educator and an excellent human being. He genuinely cares about the success of his students and was a huge supporter of both my work in LSJ and application process to my graduate program. Hands down one of the best professors at UW.

Professor Wender is one of the best educators I've ever had the pleasure of learning from at this university. The threat of removing him from his position speaks volumes about the way this school is run. Actually removing him would be a travesty.

Professor Wender is one of my favorite professors at the University of Washington. He has such enthusiasm for the subjects he teaches and it reflects to his students. I have taken two classes with him already and a third one planned for next quarter. The University of Washington not renewing his contract for the next school year will leave hundreds of students disappointed at the UW. He is, by far, one of the best professors that UW has to offer.
