I think it's sick that they r shutting down this care home,some of these people have been in here for many of years and with u shutting this down they ain't going to take this well be re homed this is there home ,my girlfriends nan lives in there and before she went to priors mead, she be to one care home before hand and because it was bigger with loads more people in there care wasnt there for the old people the staff didn't seem nice at all because they where rushing around all the time,but with priors mead it is so different the care is there all the time not rushing around the care home is filled with loads of love and good relationship,it's apart of abby farm it's been there for years,all I can say if u shut this place down u are rehoming people in different places that are not going to get same care that they get at priors mead ,stop thinking about saving money and start thinking about the old people that live here and settled

as part of my job I used to deliver to 3 care homes in Suffolk, all of them had to be privatised due to austerity cuts, 2 have been demolished, 1 is an empty shell. this has to stop!

I remember as a. Hold going here in harvest festivals to sign to the people in there. It's part of the estate history. Recently my father spent his last few weeks in there and I have nothing but praise for all the staff, fantastic job and great care home in Thetford . Just because it's small compared to others in the town isn't a good enough reason to shut when it performs to a good standard - recent inspection . I would rate it excellent myself , moving the residents at this time in their life isn't acceptable .

Elderly people deserve to live in piece as much and the younger generations. It is disgusting that they may be kicked out. I'm signing because I would like the residents to feel comfortable and not afraid to be moved from their home.

It's just crazy to even think about closing Priorsmead car home. Instead of shutting down care home the council along with the government should be building new one's to meet the growing demand

This is important site,both for residents and their families and the carers that work there. A place that offers 1-1 care that I certainly would want should I get to that respectable age! If you want large care homes that we see on tv where carers don't care, crack on. I for one, knowing my wife cares for people there, knows they are being taken care of with love.

It is entirely wrong to take away the only council home in Thetford for Thetford people. Why should they be moved away from their friends, neighbours and the place they know as their home.

My nan has been to some care homes and not liking any of them staff was not friendly at all ,we got her in to Priors Mead and she loves it there,the carers are so friendly always there when my nan needs anyone they have made my nan come out of her she'll,they have help her hell of a lot with walkingand lots more ,I think this will destroy my nan if priors mead shuts,they need to think about the old people and not just about money,money is not everythink priors mead is part of the community it has been there for a number of years even when I was young,
