Keep Priorsmead Care Home Open

So angry at how the staff and residents are being treated. My mum has worked at this home for 27 years and there isnt a care in the world for anyone.

My mum is in there and she loves it keep it open don't let them have to move to a bigger home

My wife has worked at Priorsmead for 27 years and feels that the closing of Priorsmead will be a huge loss to Thetford. Not to mention feeling that the staff have been kicked in the teeth (yet again) by Norse who put money before care.

Knowing some of the staff and the very many years of dedicated service that they have given to this home, along with the comments of the residents who are very happy there, I would be greatly saddened if norfolk county council decided on closing this home when care home places are so desperately needed.

This is a brilliant example of a real "home" for its residents, not just a place for em to live and die.

They seem to want to take everything that's good in our town away why ?

This is an integral,part of the Abbey estate and given that a lot of the population are over 60 and will possibly succumb to care needs I,feel,it is inward

Needs saving, it's a lovely home. My Nan and mum both were residents and well looked after.

That is a lovely home and bin there 4 many years my Nan loves it in there why take 1 of the best care homes away

The Priosmead has been part of our community for as long as I can remember, such a shame this is even being considered! Take some money from prisons and leave the elderly alone!

I've signed this as this home need a to be kept open in Thetford.

I object to the closure of Priorsmead Care Home and wish to see it remain open.

Please keep this home open,my nan was cared for there for the last few years of her life! The staff are amazing,nan was cared amazingly,professionally.it would be a great shame to hear that this fabulous home will be closing.

My mother in law was at priors mead a lovely clean and friendly place The staff were all great and couldn't do enough to care for her or the rest of family

My nanny Mary lived at Priorsmead for 3 years before she passed away and enjoyed her time living there.

This care home has been there for years . what will happen to the people that live there ? What we happen with this place when it does close ? Get dismantled and built in to housing ? This does not look on the council shutting care homes down ! There is other ways to say money !!! Maybe cut their pay grade down instead letting elderly suffer !

We are already short of care home places in Thetford - this would just make matters far worse. Also, this is putting unfair stress on the people who call this home and also their families too.
