Page Rd development is a NO for a multitude of reasons. Future water supply, traffic congestion, school overcrowding and the tax burden to the landowner increases. We are also forgetting that a Canadian Land Bank owns the property on the south side of 60 in the same area. What if their development gets built along with the Page Rd development?

We don’t need to add these houses. It will slow traffic patterns, over crowd schools, and take away from what’s so appealing about Powhatan ... it’s rural small town charm.

This is a hard no from me. If you want to be like Chesterfield, move to Chesterfield...

I love Powhatan as it is. It feels like home and family all around us. If we add these “affordable” homes (250k-400k is NOT affordable for most families.) it will overpopulate Powhatan. Making our schools, roadways, and emergency services less effective. Not to mention the fact that they won’t have the proper funding to deal with that big of an addition in the county. I’m against this housing due to all of these statements and more. The world wants more, more, more and thinks bigger is better. But when it comes to Powhatan, the small town, minimalistic feel, and community we have is worth so much more than this project.

Please keep Powhatan in its rural way! We moved here to get away from the overcrowded city , high taxes, over crowded schools . We do not want or need to be like Chesterfield.
