Please do the right thing for your constituents and do not approve this. This in no way will be beneficial to the residents of Powhatan County. It is insanity to even consider doing this. Please pay attention to your conscience and do what you know is right.

We need to think this through. Do we want another Chesterfield? What about the added stress on the community: schools, traffic and water table for those of us on a well. I say no, Keep Powhatan rural.

I grew up mostly in powhatan as a outdoorsman. I always knew the rural side of the county. As I grew up I began to notice how the eastern side was developing uncomfortably fast. Before we know it itll look like midlothian. I understand people want to live here. But if more and more people move here then soon enough we will lose rural powhatan and everyone will be packing up to move to the next county.

No, for all the reasons I listed in my emails to each of the BOS and Planning Commission members.

We have lived off Page Rd for over 40 years and NEVER objected to any of the other developments built off Page. BUT, this proposal is ridiculous. Trying to squeeze 200+ families on to lots less than a postage stamp is unfair to the buyer. Will they have wells?...or public water? If wells are planned, will the ground perk for each of those lots? If they have public water and sewage, why won't we? We don't need the traffic this will create, either. I vote a resounding NO and expect the supervisors to listen to their constituents. I suggest that, if they don't vote against the project, they be voted out of office on Nov. 5th.

I remember sitting in BoS meetings in the mid-90’s and listening to Billy Melton and others say “we don’t want to turn into another Chesterfield “. Needless to say, I have become increasingly disgusted over the years at the obvious disingenuousness of this statement!
