I am a weekly listener and we need to keep this show and the Polka tradition in Central and Western MA alive!! The once dying breed is dying no more! A new/renewed polka and polka dancing fan base is starting to come back to prominence especially in the younger crowd in their 20s and 30s like myself!!!

Keep Polish polka music alive on WMUA! If you don't think this genre of music has much of an audience, come down to Ocean Beach in New London, CT next June and see for yourselves!

I do not appreciate your decision to engage in outright discrimination against polka music and it's devoted listeners who have donated to your station for the past 36 years. Many of them depend on this polka music for their entertainment needs. I strongly urge you to reconsider this decision to not only deny these people their Polish heritage, but also to deprive them of their "youth".

Todd, Billy and those at WMUA, through the Internet stream, were the background to my Saturday's and Sunday's while I struggled through paper after paper in college. This station is one of the few that are still keeping our great music alive. Don't kill that for us. That should be a matter of pride and a marketing tool not something that should be reduced.

What a shame that the polka programs that have brought happiness to so many people and have done so much to help the station in raising money are the ones to be cut.
