Gentlemen: Don't! Please don't, go the way that WFUV did some years ago.., Bill Shibilski had a polka show on every Saturday night for years, many years, and the Polish community fully supported the university station every year. They totally eliminated his show and insulted not only him but the polish community by doing so by doing the same thing you plan on doing - cancel show times RIGHT AFTER the POLISH community pledged a substantial sum of operating dollars for the station.

I'm not sure what is driving this decision, but station management needs to reconsider. Reducing ethnic programming is just not a fair way to create more air time. Please re-think this plan. Thank you.

WMUA is supposed to serve the community, the whole community--from young to old--as well as UMass students. The Polka Show means a great deal to listeners, and especially our Babcis and Dzadzis who are not tuned into to music streaming services.
As an alum of UMass, it saddens me to see this conflict at WMUA play out. There is enough time to serve everyone who listens to the station. Keep the Polka Show as is!

Please do not take this off the air. I do Hospice volunteering and many of my "clients" ask me to turn your station on so they can listen to it. Please, Please stay on the air

There is a large portion of the Pioneer Valley that tunes in to the weekend Polka shows. For all of their support over the years, polka shows should remain on WMUA with a full weekend schedule!

How can an administration make a decision of a change if all interested parties are not brought together to discuss it's impact. Could this be a form of bullying , or another example of loosing our democracy.

I listen to polka music for hours each day. The WMUA polka programming gives me and my wife entertainment and informs us of up coming dances and new releases. Please reconsider your new approach and keep the polka shows on for 12 hours.
