Keep Polkas Alive on WMUA

This is crazy!!! If this change is made you will never get another Cent out of me, my family and my friends at your fundraiser. Polka people are your BIGGEST supporters every year and to even think of doing this is a slap in the face.

Please reconsider your decision to cut the polka music. It brings such happiness to so many and spreads joy to those who listen. ThAnk you

This latest appalling announcement is the capper to so many previous poorly explained and questionably determined schedule slashes. It is baffling how these decisions are being made without input from your community and DJ's or consideration for the history and contribution of the station. As stated in the petition, the Polish music appreciating community have been the strong financial supporters of WMUA. Is your ultimate goal to alienate as many longtime listeners as possible?

please save all the existing hours and do not reduce any..i have told so many people who have told to listen in.

Keep the Polka shows on this station!! The students of this school WILL NOT support it as the polka people do. Just look at the donations!!

Such a shame and disgrace management would do this. College campuses are turning into a liberal environment, with no room for higher learning. They preach diversity, yet cut this program which has provided nothing but love, support, and most importantly, money! You can say thanks to us for some of that new equipment. Good job UMass.

WMUA is a vital communication to a broad base, including many states. The community that supports the polka segments of your station will lose. Please re-consider keeping the 12 hours of dedicated polka segments.

We have to keep this going!!! These are both WONDERFUL programs...PLEASE leave these this alone and let us continue our beautiful broadcasts and wonderful music with our most talented and entertaining DJ's. Saddens me to see that this situation even came up. Please re-consider doing this.

Listened to this with my mom when I was young, and now, she is 72 years old and living with me and my 3 children after we nearly lost her 2 years ago, and we are once again listening through the internet!

Please preserve the Polka music time, many people enjoy this culturally significant programming!

I hope they change their mind, but I'm sure some other college station would be happy to pick up an extra $20k+/year in donations

My family loves the Polkas, which we listen to on the radio every Sat. & Sun. morning! Our weekends wouldn't be the same without them!
