The polka community has given unwavering support for WMUA. It is incomprehensible that the station is now slapping them in the face. Already, many hours of programming have been shifted from community to student body. Keep the polka programming as it has been these many years.
My location is Northfield, MA.

I ask you to reconsider your decision to reduce the hrs. of Polka Music on the weekends. This certainly good clean music to be enjoyed by all!!!!! I feel that you are really hurting your public relations with the many listeners that have supported this program.

Please keep the Polka Shows on the Weekend as they have been for the past 36 years. It is a real disgrace to the Polish Community who have supported this station for years on the WMUA Polka Fundraiser.

As a graduate of UMass Amherst, I've always had the utmost respect for the University; that is until now. It is a disgrace that the University would allow the demise of "the polka family" who has secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations over the last three plus decades.. As a result of the University's actions, I am no longer proud to call myself a Minuteman. Going forward, I will associate myself solely with the academic institution where I completed my graduate studies, Boston University. Please inform the alumni association that my yearly donations to UMass will now be forwarded to Boston University.

Polka programming must stay alive at WMUA.
Too much culture has disappeared among a variety of ethnic groups and this causes a decline in the evolution of our great country which is known for the notoriety of all the great cultures.
