I think it is terrible that this college would cut the polka show after so many of us donated to the station. A lot of the listeners are senior citizens, It is something we look forward to. Also all the DJ's donated their time.

Keep the music of Polka's alive. It is the heritage of the Polish people that live in the country. Polka's brings happiness to many and you want to cut that in half.

Please keep polka music alive. I have been a polka dancer since I was 8 years old, over 40 years. I love the music, the musicians, and dancing. It is my passion.

Long before the simulcasts started, we have generously supported this stations programming primarily because of the diversity polka programs add to your lineup. I also resent that the decision was held until after the fundraiser was completed, Is a refund in order? The simulcasts expand the audience pool allowing previously untapped donations, Please reconsider your decision or at least temper it to a more modest cut and be more up front next year what your plans are for our pledges, Sincerely Art Borodich Grosse Pointe Woods MI

If there are stations for every other genre of music, why not polkas? Take the time and listen to the polkas of today! There are some very talented musicians in the polka industry. Polkas today are not the same as what they were. Just because you don't understand the language, doesn't mean it needs to go. I can't understand half the words in heavy metal and they are in English. Make time to tune in and you will see why the polka world is the best kept secret!!!

Keep the polka programming in tact at WMUA. The polka community has been very financially supportive of WMUA.

The WMUA polka shows are part of this community. They have been since before I moved here in 1986 and I was proud to be able to turn on the radio so my kids could hear them. Keep them on the air.
