This is devastating news. I have listened to the Saturday morning polka shows since I moved here in 1985. When my mother moved here to assisted living because she had dementia we would enjoy the show together. Knowing how much this show is loved is telling from the yearly fund raiser. It's doubtful future donations will ever be matched.

Please, let's keep the Polka programming alive and teach our youth the fun of dancing polkas (as a form of exercise) and our ethnicity.

Our weekends would be incomplete without Polka music blaring through our home. Have been listening to this wonderful, happy music for years. Many of us supported this station throughout the years. Please keep polka music alive. Very disappointing that you are keeping the donations and throwing out the music. You are also taking the joy away from many of the elderly throughout the Valley that look forward to hearing this beautiful music every weekend.

Very disappointing and a disgust to cancel and reduce polka programming after polka people have helped come through for WMUA! Also a shame for all polka IJ's/DJ's who work so hard and devote their time to these programs! Please return to the regular 12hr polka schedule throughout the weekend!

Please don't follow other stations examples that have reduced the programming time of polka music because it is one of the few real music styles left that have a specific heritage to Americans.

If your not going to be playing polkas, what kind of garbage will you play instead?
