Keep the Polkas on WMUA I listen to them faithfully every Sat. and Sunday and play more old Country Music. Don't care for some of the music you are playing since new regime taking over

Polka is the heart and soul of WMUAs weekend block. Despite moving out to Washington State I have continued to tune in occasionally online. The Polish community and the UMass Marching Band need this programming, please do not change it.

This should be put back to 12 hours on Saturday and 12 hours on sunday. There are many people, not just polish, who enjoy polka music. Many people are shut ins and they enjoy the music. PLEASE RETHINK YOUR DECISION and keep polka music alive on you radio station FOR 12 HOURS SATURDAY AND 12 HOURS SUNDAY. Thank you

A trajedy for so many loyal listeners and supporters for more than three decades.
Please reconsider your decision, and reinstate the Polka programming that you have eliminated.
You will never understand the joy and happiness it brings to thousands of people.
Mitch, Billy, Todd, Ernie, Sandy, Helen etc...deserve to the opportunity to carry on this tradition.

I grew up in Amherst listening to polka every weekend and streamed it live after moving out of the area, introducing WMUA's polka programming to friends in Minneapolis and New York City.

This is almost exactly the same thing that Fordham did to Bill Shibilski after some 36 years and the listeners contributing many, many thousand s of dollars in the pledge drives. Fordham's action wiped-out Polish music forever on thier station.. If WMUA action stays, it is only a matter of time until all Polish music is eliminated on WMUA. I get WMUA via ITUNES.

The best way to engage the community in education is with polka music. The polka show is a long running tradition that has provided funding to the University of Massachusetts.

Living in Easthampton Ma it is most convenient for me to listen on the radio. I am a musician playing in polka bands since the age of 14. I paid for m,y college education including four graduate degrees from Umass I am ashamed of what my alma mater is doing to the Polish and friends of the Polish community

Part of your requirement to satisfy your FCC licenses is to provide service to the public. Perhaps you could tell us your license renewal date, so we could tell the FCC how happy we are with your public service.
