If this change goes through I will never support or listen to WMUA again. This is cultural genocide taking away one of the few sources for this musical form in the northeastern US.

Polka is one of the very few genres of music that is not only festive but representative of a culture where families dance together, from children to the very elderly. It would be a shame to contribute to its decline.

For over three decades, this music has filled the air in our kitchens, our cars, on our porches and our farms. Lets not kill off yet another community and cultural institution.
