This is a clear cut case of DESCRIMINATION AGAINST THE POLISH in the USA. Had that committed such an act against the Spanish (we have pie tied to the Spanish in the USA, who refuse to learn English, the language of the land by having signs in both English and Spanish through out the country, "push 1 for English, the NAACP would have been on this on in a heartbeat had this been an act against black music, and the Jewish community would have been up in arms, we the Slavic community HAVE been discriminated against since my grandfathers coming to this country LEAGELLY, under the quota system, this is a perfect example it is still going on, we are being treated as SECOND CLASS CITIZENS. POLKA MUSIC IS HAPPINESS, the new administration of the station needs to be REPLACED FOR BEING PREDIGEST.

Grew up listening to this show and enjoy it. Very sad change in programming. Hope the station doesn't lose their listeners or $ during fund drive. Would not appreciate the program being brought back once a year for that purpose. Other shows will be missed as well such as 9 volt heart. Thanks for advertising the petition in the paper.

Polka Music on WMUA on Saturday Morning is a tradition that must be maintained.

Please keep the program as is. Such a joy on Sat. to listen to polkas all morning long. No other place to listen like now.

Isn't it politically incorrect to target a certain ethnic group?Seems to me that's what this is.

I have been listening to polka music all my life. I really looked forward to the Saturday and Sunday broadcasts. I believe there was a breach of trust on the part of the station asking for money which I now regret contributing and then cancelling the show. There are more listeners that just those in Western Mass who probably grew up there and now reside elsewhere who listen religiously on Saturday mornings as I did for years. This move is truly a slap in the face to Polish Heritage

This show is a wonderful thing and listened to by a vast audience and the station has been well funded over these years by the same people. Keep these shows on!
