Please keep the polkas on the weekend alive. I am not very mobile so I can not go to polka dances anymore. I am on the computer a lot on Sat. and Sun. and listening to the polka programs is a delight. PLEASE don't take them off.

I live in a small city in NY state. And with very little polka music to in my area, I listen to it on the internet (polka jammer network.) I'm very disappointed at your decision to be like the rest of this country and to toss polka music aside. EVERY culture should be allowed to have their music continue. (4 hours is a slap in the face after the Polish community supported you all along.) Don't you think that your students should be exposed to much more than rock and heavy metal? Polish Americans and others still find polka music to be very entertaining, and I especially enjoyed the WMUA programming. Let's not let different cultures die out or what are you teaching your students?? Nothing positive, for sure.

this decision reflects a total disregard for the financial and moral support polka listeners have given to WMUA throughout the years....it also fails to take into account the contribution this popular musical genre makes to the diversity of the population in the pioneer and western mass area....please SERIOUSLY RECONSIDER this decision....thank you
