Wal Mart got its start on small towns like Piedmont. For them to close this store would be not only a shame for all the older people that live there but a REAL SHAME for Wal Mart. This would show their customers mean NOTHING to the now huge corporation that the small towns like Piedmont helped create. SHAME on Wal Mart for leaving a whole town stranded.

This store means jobs. It means not driving 50 miles to another one. If it isn't pulling in enough money for the richest business on earth, expand it! Make it a Supercenter. Your greed is showing.

I lived in Piedmont for years. I remember the day the ribbon was cut. It is really heartbreaking to see this happening.

Walmart executives don't care about small communities. Walmart only cares about big profits, the bottom line. This store is always busy, especially during summer months when tourist come to the lake.

I've been to this wal mart many times and I think it is good for the area. Plus Any One camping or locals as well has somewhere to go to get something else especially an emergency. Diapers, wet wipes, clothes Tylenol, some food, ect

If you close our Wal Mart in Piedmont, Mo., We will have to drive nearly hour to get the things we need that Wal Mart Provides. We have no other stores that carry Clothes at an affordable price as well as many other items. This would be detrimental to our community. Please keep our store OPEN!!!

I believe this walmart is very necessary to keep. Without it, lots of residents and nearby town folks will be screwed. It's been there before I was born. And it's a great vital for piedmont.
