I shop here at Piedmont Wal-Mart just about every day it needs to stay open because I do not want to have to go to fredericktown or poplar bluff just to shop at Wal-Mart

We need this store to stay open. So many people depend on their jobs and so many use their pharmacy.Not to mention all the people who don't have transportation to go shopping out of town. This is a terrible blow to our community.

This can and will hurt the town on the level of tourism as it relates to camping. Lack of a local store will discourage campers in the area as a result of lack of resources, supplies and out of town revinue. As a weekend property owner in the town and county, I personally depend on the locality of this location.

I wonder what the Corps of Engineers thinks of all this? Clearwater Lake? There's a lot of revenue stimulated by the Lake, but it too is affected by the convenience of a WalMart nearby.

The future of our towns growth, stability and resources rely on our walmart staying! Without a choice to use walmart, other local competitors can take advantage of our community by increasing prices making it harder for people to afford. It will drive down our tourism since the town wont have available convenient resources for tourists. Our town may be small but the surrounding areas also rely on our walmart. Please keep it open!
