Keep Piedmont, Wayne County Missouri Wal-Mart Open!

Please keep it open

We really need this store in our community!!

We need this walmart! We have tourists and locals who use it regularly. I do not want to drive 45 miles and deal with heavy traffic. Please do not close a store that makes you money. People need their jobs!

I know we are a small town, but we need Wal Mart, please don't remove it. We have alot of elderly people who depends on you for everything. Alot of us can not just load up and go to the next town to shop. Please leave your store open here in Piedmont Mo. Thank you!

This Wal-Mart location is essential to the Piedmont area's day-to-day life. From our tourist season to the holiday season, this location provides us with the necessities right here in our own community. Without our local Wal-Mart, we'd have to make a 2 hour round trip in order to obtain those same necessities. This store has been here for as long as I can remember. Please know that with this closing, our community will be changed... and not for the good.

People needs those jobs!

I think it is insane that the only decent store in Piedmont is considering closing!! Walmart shame on you, instead of closing up you should try expanding into a super center for the people in that town I mean geez your prices are better than town and country and you would provide more jobs so instead of taking jobs away from people why don't you expand and put more jobs out for people in the area!!! I am one customer that is losing faith in Walmart

This is very sad news for my home town. I remember when this store opened. What a great time of celebration! This will have severe negative impact on the entire community. The local areas of attraction (lakes and rivers) have seen increase in tourism since the store opened, as it was easier to purchase needed goods while in the area. I know when I come home for visits, I purchase locally. Our community leaders should be taking more of a stand. I'm very disappointed.

What's the big deal. They going to let Dollar General run them out of town now?

Walmart is very much needed in Piedmont. If we lose Walmart we have to go 30 min either direction to shop. IT will hurt all stores cause if people have to leave town for Walmart they will do all their shopping out of town.

Piedmont needs this store. Not just for shopping but for the people whose livelihood depends on it staying open.

This town really needs Walmart closing Walmart will take all of the shopping away from the whole town

I hope they can keep this Walmart open...people around town cannot or will not be able to travel to Poplar Bluff to shop...so we need this here, plus many people who do need it will lose their jobs and that will be sad...

The people in and around Piedmont need the Walmart in their community. They rely on it for affordably priced food, clothing, medicine and other necessities. Show the world that Walmart still cares about people, like Sam Walton did, by keeping your doors open in Piedmont.

I will step down as president if you leave this walmart open... I promise!

I will be lost if Walmart leaves, all these people will have to relocate.
