Ridiculous decision. For the first time in my 40 plus years living here there is something for the community at the river which is a great success and you take it away, ruining the girls excellent business..

We have waited for years to have something like Hullbridge side had we really hoped Phoebes was the start of finally being able to enjoy refreshments at our river side ! Cannot believe this is now being taken away from our community!!!

Perfect spot for friends to meet, talk and enjoy a cuppa whilst in a super location. Mental health will suffer for some without this gem in our town.

Phoebe’s pantry is an asset to SWF. Why would anybody not approve of it? It helps to attract our local residents (and people from further afield) to the river area, as well as providing us with delicious cakes, bacon baps, etc.
