At last we had a riverside resource our side of the river. Wonderful place to visit and sit, lovely cakes and drinks. Why corporate greed now raising it's head. This was just a ugly old carpark until this enterprising young lady had a vision. You at CCC never saw this until your greedy little hands saw MORE PROFIT. SHAME ON YOU

Phoebe's pantry is a treasure to the area. We should be supporting local businesses so they can thrive not bullying them into closure due to unfair extra costings.

It’s difficult to understand why this decision has been made. How does it benefit the local community or the Council to deprive SWF of a thriving small business?
I’m sure this decision could be reversed; please do.

Such a shame the council have decided this..This lil cafe was a good send through lockdown. The town loves this only place to enjoy a homemade cake and a cuppa by our beautiful river..

Phoebes offer a service that was so lacking in SWF. They should be allowed to continue under the current arrangements. It’s criminal to price them out after they took risks to set up this absolute gem enjoyed by so many people

Disgraceful that we pay amongst the highest council tax in Essex and yet ECC continue to run all over us taking away services and also park areas that are enjoyed by lots of people. This is yet another one.
