ECC just don't get it

Really disappointed that this is happening

Would be such a shame to loose such an amazing little place!

You should be encouraging small businesses not trying to close them down. She is an asset to Woodham and just what we need by the river. What you are doing is shameful.

The council should be supporting local businesses not effectively shutting them down so that they can make some money.

A lovely local small business which is in the perfect spot for many to enjoy a lovely treat. Why take away all the hard work, time and effort this small business has done to establish itself here and take away something that locals enjoy?

This is a community which supports small businesses. It needs to stay as there is nothing along the front to serve people who need a break. The food is lovely

It would be a travesty if Phoebe's Pantry has to go

People travel far and wide to visit our little town for a walk along the water and a coffee and cake at Phoebe’s.

Very disappointed with ECC and this decision.

I moved to SWF in December and was delighted to see Phoebe's Pantry on my daily walk along the seawall, It a beautiful spot and they are clearly very popular. This lovely business must stay, and I hope that they get all the support they need to do so

Please keep phoebes pantry on the river in SWF, great little business!

Don't be bullies, leave Phoebe's Pantry alone!

I really cannot understand this decision. Local councils should be there to encourage and help small businesses to grow, after all they are what makes local communities thrive. Further more, when there is such a focus on peoples mental health, places like Phoebes Pantry provide that help for people to go and relax by the river.

What are you thinking ECC? This is a lovely small business by the river in south woodham ferrers a rural scenic area. Not a large parkland where ECC can make money from parking and profiting from franchising! This small business brings much joy and a great place to meet fellow walkers and dog walkers, as well as delicious homemade cakes and teas and coffees.

I have enjoyed going for walks along the river and stopping for tea and cake on many occasions

Please don’t take away this little gem and ruin a small business on the process.

We should be helping small businesses not pricing them out.
