Pete is a fantastic engineer with years of experience. He is a top bloke as well and very popular with the users. He would be a big loss to M&S.

Pete is our Mac guru and his knowledge and quick response is invaluable - now more than ever working remotely! It seems unfair to diminish the team even further, leaving the weight of the workload required, to just a couple of people.

Pete is invaluable to the design team - his expert knowledge and understanding of our ways of working mean our issues are resolved very quickly. Working remotely we rely greatly on the macbooks and Pete is always available and efficient when things go wrong!

Invaluable support when setting new members up on MAC systems- IT have little knowledge of MAC needs and unable to support in a timely manner as Pete does.
When rolling out new systems or upgrading machines he has always supported previously and ensured smooth transitions for the team.
Always willing to give advise and come back with solutions on MAC issues or server issues when needed.
Helps in a friendly way and explains technical issues in a understandable manner.
IT support is not sufficiently set up to deal with MAC requests- even after explaining you are on a MAC you often get a standard PC response so are diverted back to Pete & team anyway where they always help even if it is not their official remit!!
With so much digital working now what if a MAC system went down/ multiple machines malfunctioned?? We often need instant fixes to enable us to carry out our roles and need the valuable back up of a knowledgable support team.

Whenever I have a problem with my MAC, Pete has always been so quick to help and so quick to solve the issue too! He is extremely knowledgeable and has saved me a lot of time.

Pete is the most knowledgeable proactive member of that team who actually cares about finding a resolution to your problem. To loose his knowledge and attitude applied to his work is an oversight.

I've only worked at M&S for a short amount of time, But from the first week I started Pete was friendly, extremely efficient and super helpful. I wouldn't be able to do my job (especially WFH) without his mac support.
