I oppose resident parking in the Hollingdean area. I resent having to pay to park in my road, when for the majority of the time there is not a problem!

NO parking permits for Hollingdean .. there is not an issue with parking 95% of the time ! Adding this scheme is just an excuse for the council to make more money while the people living here have to foot the bill for something totally unneccesary !

Residential parking does not solve the problem it only moves the problem elsewhere. It does not guarantee that you will be able to park outside your own home.

I oppose resident parking in any part of Hollingdean. It won't solve any problems. In fact there isn't a problem anyway!

Absolutely the worst value for money council scheme. Enough of those disguised ways to get money out of us,! How about the council limits HMOS permits in our area and therefore limits the number of cars semi permanently parked apart from uni holidays...that should help

I do not want to have resident parking zones in Hollingdean. This has to stop! All it achieves is to move more vehicles over to the next area! I live in Hollingdean, where the majority of my neighbours have a family vehicle and a business vehicle. Where are we to park our second vehicle?? The only time that there are no spaces in the road is at night when the parking restrictions would not be valid anyway! Fiveways businesses are already suffering from this ludicrous parking ban, where elderly residents can’t drive and park at their local shops! If the resident parking was lifted here, we wouldn’t have the overflow carried down to Hollingdean and the shops there would be more accessible to all once again!!!! I do not see why I should have to pay to park outside my own house!!!

Hollingdean and hollingbury should remain a no pay parking area. People all ready pay council tax and road tax...why should they be made to pay a parking tax every time the leave their car outside their homes . Its just the council looming to grab more money to fritter away on new tourist attractions that few people want to visit.

NO TO PARKING IN HOLLINGDEAN, TOTAL WASTE OF TIME I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR 20 YEARS IN THE AREA THIS WILL NOT SOLVE ANY PARKING ISSUES BUT MAKE THEM WORSE. COUNCIL JUST NEED ANOTHER EXCUSE TO MAKE MORE INCOME FROM RESIDENTS WHO WILL HAVE THE ADDITIONAL COST FOR PERMITS.

We do not want residents parking within the hollingdean area it just another way for the council to make more money from us. it will not solve the issue. It will have an impact on residents budgets, family and friends visiting will have to use the daily permits at extra costs. Total waste of time and effort, NO NO NO TO PARKING PERMITS WITHIN THIS AREA.

Keep hollingdean permit parking free. Drive ways are creating more problems and anyone is legally entitled to park in front of the drive. They do not own the pavement or road.

I do not want residents parking. This is a terrible inconvenience, not affordable, prevents visits from family and friends and is a stealth tax and solves no problems. Please do not do this. Its a massive waste of resources and time. Campaign for better public transport which is extremely expensive.
