Strongly disagree with permit parking. It will not solve the parking problem.

Permit parking will not solve the problem. It will only cause more hassle and expense for people. Strongly disagree with putting permit parking!!

why should we have to pay to park our vehicle when we have to pay road tax.

I understand that part of the problem for residents in the Hollingdean Terrace area near the Veolua site is that Veolia staff don't have parking on site unless they are management. Seems that it is Veolia need to address this problem by making space available on site. Maybe local councillors could look into this and negotiate a solution?

There is not a problem with parking here. There will still be a short supply of spaces at night as many households have multiple vehicles. Is nothing more than a money making scam to restrict parking during the hours that ample space is available.

I strongly object to the parking in the hollingdean area. I currently visit my elderly mother on a regular basis as she gets very lonely on her own. I would not be able to afford the visitor costs so this would severely affect her quality of life. I understand the need for parking restrictions in the centre of Brighton but feel this is totally over the top in the outlying residential areas.
