They need to get these lorries and large vans out of residential roads that take up more than one park space, and I read someone saying it’s fed up residence damaging cars out of frustration, mine has been attack with a standly knife a very expensive car,if it is a resident doing it thank you you just cost me £2500 to have it resprayed, the car is tax insured and MOT’d ,if someone knows whose doing it they should report it,

That's enough greed from the Council! Every time trying to find ways to turning the roads in Brighton and Hove into a money grabbing system as residents have no choice but to park their car on the road.
What are they doing with this money anyways. I've not seen worse roads in Britain!
No, thank you.

I strongly oppose permit parking. There is always parking space may not be right in front your house.

I am totally against permit parking. This will add more financial hardship to already struggling families.

in the daytime there is no parking problem, which is the time we payfor and guests cant relax without fear of a traffic warden in that time,it will cause more problems than it solves, imagine paying for the privilege to park outside and then friends and family get tickets too.is this going to be a yearly battle,i hope not

I object strongly to the idea of paid parking. There was already a consultation about this and the majority of residents is against it.

As a resident in the area, there are available parking space on the streets during day time and during night there are not as many as day time. Bringing permit in the area do not solve this issue. So PLEASE MAINTAIN FREE PARKING IN HOLLINGDEAN.
Thank You,

Perfectly happy to accept free residence parking, Perhaps BHCC stopped allowing so many HMO's in Hollingdean the parking problem would not arise. It's a problem caused by the Council whose remedy appears to be robbing existing long-term residents.

Yes to this! Although I'm not sure multiple occupancy houses are too blame (point no. 5), I like living in a vibrant community with a mixture of families, students and workers and the families in my road have more cars than the students do!

A scheme with little consideration for the existing parking issues noted in the area - appears to be paving the way for even more difficulty and stress for residents with cars.
