This has been a tradition in my family for as long as I can remember. The beautiful lights ,my daughters and now my four granddaughters excitement as we await the sound of the sirens of the beginning of the parade. If it's on a Saturday, that's fine. Just let it be at night . It gets dark early...5-6pm.Please?

This will be a certain fail. What are y'all thinking? Keep the parade at night and add day time events like having Santa available to talk to the kids during the day, groups singing carols, maybe a Christmas village set up by the city in one of the larger empty buildings downtown for that day ending with the parade at night. It's a tradition that works, why change something tgsts successful???

I think the idea of moving the parade to Saturday is a great idea...but Saturday morning? NO THANKS! My daughter is going to want to see all of the pretty lights and you won't be able to see that during the day. Do the other planned activities during the day and close with the parade that night.. it's not rocket science people really.

This is a County Tradition. Nobody wants to go to a Christmas parade in the daytime. Kids and adults enjoy the lights and night time sounds. If it isn't broke, don't try to fix it.

I've have grown up in oneonta and ever since I can remember the Christmas parade has been at night. I prefer to keep it that way.

It's a Tradition, keep it at night! It's always been first Thursday night of December, until the State Football Playoffs interfered with it. It just wouldn't be the same during the day. By the way, Who Are the Powers that Be?
