The citizens of a country should be the priority of the government not the wealth of the government by selling water owned by the people of the country the government are hired to govern. Profit shouldn't over take commonsense. Serve the people wisely

I'm very concerned about what is happening with our water being exported overseas. What will happen in 10-20 years time to the land area that all this water is no longer flowing under. Surely there can't be enough for sustainability?

It's NOT ok.! Greed strips NZ of our golden treasures we deserve as kiwi's. Its our God given right to enjoy the luxuries of this country! Government needs to wake up and stop destroying NZ's wealth!

Take the water back. Its not actually their decision its ours! If we all say STOP, they will have to listen. Lets stand up because water is going to become the number one resource if it i'snt already. Our health is not worth a few more dollars in the council bank accounts. They think they know about the ratios and percentages, but if that was really true, then why do they have no idea what has happened to Napiers water? Seems their data is a somewhat lacking.
Needs to stop
