Another country being allowed to come in and take billions of litres of fresh water is utterly disgusting and the fact the government won’t step in and stop this is more disgusting regardless of historical agreements..... stuff the agreements send them packing to drill in their own country!

Leave our water alone. Why should we have to pay foreigners for our own water.
Why should we be limited to how often we can water our lawns or run our own water.
I live in Hawkes Bay and go over three bridges to get to work in Napier. I have watched the river levels lower every year.
Why should we go without so others can get rich. How dumb are councils - grow a brain think of our future!!!!

Chinese and all foreign owned businesses should not be allowed to operate in NZ. They take resources, jobs and do not care about us. Prob has Govt subsidies for wages, taxes and set up costs. No to foreign businesses!!!

We shouldn't allow people to be able to take so much water in drought prone areas! And then be put on water restrictions ourselves! Very illogical!

No more giving our water away it should only be used to sustain us all here in Aoeteroa. Who the hell do the council think they are to give consent to take water to those to sell on?
