It is absolutely ridiculous for anyone to remove this statue OR any statue that was built years and years ago without any problems caused whatsoever! I sign this petition to stop this nonsense and for them to get out of our town! They’re useless to us!

This statute is about history. A bloody War and A flag that represents 13 original colonies with stars are laid out in the pattern of an X, and the blue bands are put on the thirteen stars to show that the southern states no longer wanted to be a part of the union with the northern states. The message of flag is simply this... CROSS US OUT of your Union! The southern states withdrew from the union in a movement called "secession," which led to the Civil War. Georgia is one of the states that should keep the statutes in the squares. We should know about the blood shed and why.

If this statue should be removed, it would be a dishonor for whom fought for it to stand. If it is removed ever historical statue should be removed as well black history or white history, none should stand!
