This is one woman who shows leadership. She's outstanding as principal and I believe that is the best position she should stay in.

In my role as a fellow educator in MPS, I heard wonderful things from my colleagues working at Lincoln. I hope that this leadership and stay and continue!

If Ms. Herring's role as a principal is similar to her role as a parent, you want to keep her at LCA. I've had the opportunity to work with Ms. Herring's son, and it is quite evident that his first teachers are his parents -- Her son was hardworking, devoted, and respectful. Moving Ms. Herring from LCA is NOT in the staff, students, and parents' best interest. Do the right thing, and keep Ms. Herring at LCA!

I have worked with Ms. Herring for over 34 years going back to the day’s when she began her career with MPS as a paraprofessional at Bell Middle School. Ms. Herring has always been a tireless advocate for students, families, and staff. Do the right thing and leave her in place as the principal of LCA.

Ms. Herring was placed in this role unexpectedly and has worked TIRELESSLY to make sure her students and staff were AND are properly cared for. She is a dedicated teacher, principal and employee. I feel that she was not given the chance/opportunity to demonstrate her full capabilities that show her true compassion, care and qualities. I feel that proper thought and consideration was not and has not been put into place with the decision to not allow Ma. Herring to be principal of LCA. I vote to allow Ms. Herring to assume role of principal of LCA.

I don’t understand why this is even an issue. If the interview process was completed, why would anyone override the decision that was made by the team, as their process states?
