I wouldn’t be the person I am without leaders like Ms Nebritt Herring. She is effective within her profession and is dedicated to her students’ success. As as MPS graduate under Ms Herring’s guidance, I was able to attend and earn my degree from UW-Whitewater. I strongly urge her to be reconsidered to be Principal of Lincoln School of the Arts.

My sister teaches at Lincoln and she's spoken of Ms. Herring very fondly and very highly. She says Lincoln needs to have her as their administrator so that she can continue leading the school forward.

I've worked with Ms. Herring at LCA for a few years. During those years I've witnessed her great leadership abilities with the students, as well as the staff. There's no other person more deserving to lead this building, her determination, dedication, hard work and work ethics speaks for itself. She's a great mentor to the students and the staff and I'm so proud to call her not only a colleague but my friend. Please save LCA by saving the principal Ms. Herring a true Leader of the MPS school district!!!!!

I am a former Milwaukee Public Schools Safety Assistant who worked directly with Ms. Herring at Lincoln Center of the Arts for 7 years. I knew from the first time I met Ms. Herring that she is unequivocally dedicated to enriching the lives of students and their families. She works tirelessly to make sure her staff and students are always in position to be prepared and thrive. She’s groomed many students to go on and be productive adults within our Milwaukee community and beyond.

She was my former 6th grade teacher. Her enthusiasm and style of teaching is what kept me engaged. It was refreshingly different from the other styles of teaching I had been exposed to till that point. I’m sure she brings the same innovation to the admin side and would be a great and effective principal!
