Keep our lock keeper

Such injustice to a fine man. Reinstate him and deal with those who disrespected him.

A lot ck keeper at Allington ngton is necessary as it is the first lock on the river Medway. I am sure they are not thinking of not having a lock keeper at Teddington.

May I thank you all very very much on behalf of Tim for all your heartfelt comments and your best wishes. I am sure that if he was able to on this petition, he would. I believe he is feeling pretty humble right now. Hopefully the spineless "Few" at the EA will have a change of heart, but don't hold your breath. Needless to say, he is appealing with, hopefully, some new evidence so all is not yet lost. I will try to keep you all updated via this petition, in the comments section. Many thanks again

Liars are masters of their craft. A single lie can destroy a whole reputation of integrity! Moreover foolish the one’s that listen to them and repeat with additions or base a decision upon. Deceit is one of history's most recurring crimes There is always an angle, a personal agenda, some sort of gain! A gain which inevitably will come to public attention, isn't it silly to think that tearing someone else down builds you up? Everyone knows this person is hell bent on destroying lives and spending all their energy victimising innocent people! Hold your head and your standards high even as people or circumstances try to pull you down.Not accepting an outcome based on hate or deceit is the first step, the truth will always come out,  slander is the biggest occupation of those that have little or nothing in their empty lives! If my family grows old with even half the generosity, kindness, compassion and integrity you have, id forever be happy! I have lost count  of all the people you have helped over the years, probably because you rarely mention or consider it as going out of your way! I wish i was able to stop the madness, im positive the truth will out and those that have failed you will be devastated by their total lack of judgement an faith in you!

Great bloke with a great personality, always smiling and always friendly and helpful . A local man who is known by lots of people who have a lot of time and respect for such a top bloke.

Ever time i have been to the lock qith service users tim has been very polite and helpful.. there has always been a great atmosphere when his around... such a lovely man..

Tim is a lovely man that has always helped myself and my family, he is always hard working and is a known face when you arrive at the lock , we would have been stuck on several occasions without him

I have known Tim and his family for years and this is certainly not in his character, Hope this is resolved quickly and with the correct outcome.

Tim is a great lock keeper, loyal friendly, known by all, helpful he is part of Allington and would be hard to replace with somebody dedicated to his role

Tim Benger is a consumate professional in his work and always has been. I have known Tim best part of 30 years in many stressfull roles and have found him willing and able to take things on and deal with them in a calm and proffesional manner as must have been born out by his commendations to date with the Environment Agency itself and exemplorary write ups in the local news paper when he was credited with saving the river Medway further down stream by his quick thinking actions on the sluice at Allington. Totally against Tim being dismissed he's a true Gentleman very helpful to everyone

I hold Tim in the highest regard and am certain these accusations are untrue.

Tim is a lovley man and i cannot believe that his repututtion has been slandered in this way!! He is a gentleman to the core and would never act in a way that would cause concern. Tim is a hard working, loyal, honest and trustworthy man and does not deserve this frankly disgusting treatment. I will stand in any court in the land to defend his reputation and get him reinstated to the job he loves!

Tim Benger who my wife and I have known and worked with at Allington Castle have always helps Tim in the highest regard, and has been a great asset to the EA as the Lock Kepper and liasor for Allington Castle estate work. Tim has always been a good character and a gentleman at all times.

We have always found Tim a most curtious professional lock keeper. And would love to see him back at his post.

I am absolutely astounded that the EA have behaved this way. Tim has always been a thoroughly professional, approachable and knowledgeable lock keeper that has shown the EA in a good light. This is not the right way to treat a loyal public servant.

Tim has always been the most helpful and friendliest lock keeper always has good advice and will go out of his way to help you, tell me one good reason Tim should be replaced it is so lovely to has sure a familiar face when you pull up to the lock knowing he will help.
