Close this shop & Bushmead will become like virtually every other shopping centre with the heart ripped out of it & tumbleweed blowing around. the staff are lovely, they have the best choice of cards anywhere locally without having to trek into what's left of the town centre. Quite apart from the community aspect & the fact that it is supporting a worthwhile cause - greedy landlords take heed!

Barnardo’s is a big part of the Bushmead community and so many of us rely on it being there. Sue and the team have turned the branch around and every time I go in there its heaving - what more could Barnardo’s want??! Really will be sad to see it go and from all the petitions and complaints I think its safe to say the whole community will. Barnado’s head office need to revise their decision!!!

This is a part of our community the staff there now have turned it around don’t understand why you would want to close a shop that is now profitable.everyone donates to this shop as it is the only one for children please re think

I pray that the shop will be saved, it has helped me to be welcomed to the area as a newcomer, it has been a source of kindness, connection, friendship warmth and of course wonderful bargains for me and my little one. I know landlords need to get their rent, but I trust in they will prefer a successful charity store that raises money for children in need and seems to be the heart of our community, rather than the empty store.

I have visited the shop only twice just out of curiosity when was shopping at co-op and I must admit it's much more than just one of the charity shops. I witnessed people talking to each other about local community matters, laughing together, people simply enjoying each other,very welcoming first of all.
