Only God knows that justice will be served on behalf of the honorable and great man that Fr. Pedro Corces is. Hate is very bad company and those supporting this evil defamation against Fr. Corces will realized, sooner rather than later, that they were used for the obscure agenda of a minuscule group of people that for years have been trying to affect the institution of the Catholic Church. I am praying every day for each one of your souls so that Jesus wispers words of wisdom on you and help you to stop this madness. God bless you.

If you are going to start at least do it with your name - it easy to hide behind anonymous and mess with the petition

I went to St Rose from 1st grade to 8th grade. I graduated there in 1972. I was baptized, commumion, confirmaed there. All 5 of us kids. My parents funeral was at St. Rose of Lima Church. I lived across the street from the convent, the same blcok as the parish where the priest.s live on Mirror Lake. Please leave alone those IHM Sisters there! They're angels.

There should never be a change in a team that lead to success. Therefore, IHM sisters must stay.

We've been here since 1978, my sons, my friends and family 's kids all graduated from St. Rose. That's a shame. That school will decline due to this horrific action and the church will loose members.

There is a case in point here, for Archdiocese of Miami, A while back an egoist pastor at St. Joseph MB, was allowed, to play his idiosyncrasies, the attendance dipped and St. Joseph School was shuttered. (It was years of extremely hard work of a very fine and an intelligent pastor Father Bennett, was squandered, the current Pastor-Gem, Father Sosa is working extremely hard to bring back lost glorious days of this church). It seem to be history repeating at St. Rose. Someone in upper hierarchy at Archdiocese need to understand. Few pastors have business acumen. Poor business judgment mix with the ego and then remote handling, that is a sure failure of any enterprise. Kindly leave alone, those angels and sisters at St. Rose School. Since perpetuity, These sisters thru their very hard work, love , and altruistic divine services have delivered academically fine and competent students and have won the hearts of students and parents. Please don't disturb this exquisite boat. We will be thankful, for prudent decision.

The Church and the school belong to the parishioners ,not to a dictatorial pastor. As a parishioner of over 36 yrs whose children attended St Rose ,I find this a complete disregard for common sense, disrespectful to the parishioners, specifically those who have sacrificed to maintain and improve the school and its educational services over the years. I seriously doubt that those who contributed to the endowment fund would have done so with the knowledge that the Sisters would have been forced out. Consideration should be given to "forcing out" anyone, including the Parish Priest, who without adequate discussion and input dares to act to the contrary

This is a perfect case that shows what really matters to the church. I am very sorry for the Nuns. Their devotion, love and care for the kids in St. Rose is admirable. Sister Bernadette is a example to follow. I can not say the same for the Pastor of St. Rose and the Masses shows lack of devotion.

Any time a school is able to have nuns as educators it is a 1000 times to our advantage. Just their presence makes for a better day for our children. Simple but true nuns make a vast difference in our children.

The leadership at St. Rose talks about "community," but does not walk the talk. On two separate occasions in the last 3 yrs, we had to stand on our heads to get a priest when we needed one for dying parishioners; another time, we were trying to have prayers said for a longtime parishioner who was no longer at St. Rose but who had passed away. FOUR people asked that this person be prayed for and it never happened. These situations, along with what is now happening with the nuns, are unconscionable.

As a new parent at SRL I cannot imagine the school without the guidance, warmth and beautiful example that the sisters bring to my child. Oh, and as a new parent I don't belong to a 'click' as was mentioned in this mornings homily. I do not follow a 'leader' or 'difficult personally or ego'! I follow my heart and Jesus Christ and they both tell me that the sisters need to stay!

Please petition the IHM Sisters to reopen the negotiations to remain at St. Rose of Lima. The IHM Order has the final say in the decision, not the Archdiocese. I know that with the right representation, that our pastor and the Sisters can reopen the discussion and come to a mutually agreeable arrangement to remain at St. Rose.

St. Rose of Lima has been known to be one of the best catholic schools because of IHM sisters for so many years. Why would you not keep them? Why change the wheel and why change the history?

I am sooo sad! The sisters are THE school. We put our kid in this school because it is not the same thing having a secular person as the principal than having nuns running the school. Believe me! I went through that being a teacher and again, It was not the same thing!!! The nuns transmit their faith to the kids all day long. Starting with sister Bernardette directing the cars in the morning, having their morning prayers, sitting all recess outside to watch the kids, having their afternoon prayers, and directing the cars in the afternoon. She knows all the families, all the kids names and problems. She is always there to hear you!!! I don't understand WHY ARE WE HAVING THEM GONE!!!! I really find it hard to believe that after more than 30 years they are leaving because of a lack of nuns!!! It is just not logical at all!

Bishop Wenski - if you are reading this petition, you must find it in your heart to listen to the vast majority of parents, children and parishioners who are being hurt and punished by Fr. Pedro. The only way to save and repair this damage is to remove him from the parish and allow all of the nuns to stay. The positive impact that they have had on my son at SRL in a very short time is a testimony to how terrific the current school is. There is no need to make such a drastic, unneeded, underhanded change because 'the chosen few' have spoken and have been making sure he has been looked after during his stay at our beautiful parish. He has preached that he never wanted to be at SRL. Please do not allow him to cause any more damage and heartache.
