Why can't the control rooms be moved from central belt to Aberdeen and Inverness instead? I agree with the other comments and it is very worrying jobs being moved away from here. We need more jobs not less!

Local police/fire crew know the area so well and the local names for some of the places/areas that someone down in Glasgow would not and that could mean getting to someone a lot faster and save lives! What's more important saving lives or money!!! We need and rely on these people's knowledge of our Aberdeenshire area as it is a vast area to cover.

This is the stupidest thing I have heard of. It's bad enough that there are so little control rooms as it is. But to close down these and remove jobs from this area to move it all to the central belt and move the jobs there is disgusting!!!
Who ever though of this bright idea needs their wages removed from them and their job shipped to another area. Hopefully to someone with a bit more sense!!
