I think it should stay because it has never caused any problems in the past. It's not about hate . A small group of people are offended by it's presence . That is like erasing history and acting like it never happened.

Grew up with the monument always there! I even have family names on one of them. So please leave for my kids and grandkids may see for themselves.

The Civil war is part of our history. The CIvil war had more to do with a unfair tax then slavery. Research the history about the CIvil War
