I am starting a petition as my 6 year old daughter had life changing injuries ( ripped bowel in 3 places , various other injuries & has has been left with a closcomy bag) due to an accident on cylindrical spire fencing ( spiky fence). I have since heard that these types of fences are illegal in the U.K. I have contacted my local housing to ask for these to be removed or made safer to prevent any future accidents happening to anyone else's child, which they have refused as they are saying they are not a danger and this was just a freak accident. I am appealing for everyone to back me on this and sign my petition which I will forward to the Glasgow City Chambers whom I hope will contact the appropriate authorities to help me get these made safer for all of our children.
