CBS' Family Camp is an amazing ministry, one of the few "Crown Jewels" remaining. IVCF would be extremely shortsighted in destroying this ministry that has taken decades to build.

Family camp at CBS is where I officially decided to comitt my life to Christ in High School. The counselors and The Freisen family taught me of my value in Christ and how to stand firm in my faith and purity. I want my sisters and brother to have that same opportunity!

This camp is an annual refreshing and revival for our family. We have so much appreciation for how well Paul and Virginia over see the whole camp experience!

Paul and Virginia Friesen have been an invaluable and integral part of the Campus by the Sea Family Camps for years. Personally, their Bible based teachings have shaped my faith and given me a strong foundation on which I have built my relationship with Christ. Their summer camps have greatly influenced my family and many others around me. I've seen my brother in Christ give his life to God at the camp and my brother in flesh be carried up to the cross because he is permanently in a wheelchair. There is no other camp that so strongly advocates for God and so accurately describes and teaches what it is to have a relationship with Christ. Paul and Virginia have done an impeccable job of sharing the gospel in every way, shape, and form. I, for one, stand behind everything that they stand for, and so should you.

We attend this camp because Paul and Virginia truly bring something special to the camp-something the other camps don't have. Tending to families is so important in today's world. Please reinstate them asap as to not disrupt camp next year. It's the right thing to do in this case.

The importance of family in this country continues to be disappearing. Please keep Family Camps and the developers Paul and Virginia Friesen at CBS. For 40 years marriages have survived and thrived and families that were falling apart have been healed. God has been honored and glorified through this thru generations. Please listen to the majority! All glory to God!!

The manner in which Paul and Virginia were dismissed was terrible, the reasons vague and sketchy. The way camper's generous donations were misappropriated after the fact is alarming. The excuse that multiple occurances were a glitch is sad. I came to cbs in 1976 as a child and have brought my family and guests for 15 years straight. This new ivcf is unrecognizable to me!

I have been going to this camp since I was a baby. Our whole family looks forward to going every summer. Campus by the Sea has a very special place in my heart. "For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them." (Matthew 18:20) PLEASE DO NOT TAKE FAMILY CAMP AWAY!!

Please reconsider this decision to remove such an instrumental and godly environment from Intervarsity. It is a place of refuge where children, teens, college age, middle age, and elders go to be renewed by God and the generational community that has fed into this campus. As a financial donor of Intervarsity, I beg you to not throw away a legacy of godly service to the community.
