Without a doubt Campus by the Sea changed both of my girls for the better. It was a great positive influence!

We were hoping to go this year. Our family loves camp. It brings us together. The fellowship with other families is priceless. Definitely life changing.

Lots of memories at Family Camp. Thank you Friesens for your dedication. So many lives positively influenced over the years.

Please consider the families whose lives this program has changed, and how they wish for you to keep the staff and education materials the same.

This camp brings back the absolute best of memorries. This place means too much to so many people, it can't be taken away.

Don't change CBS please! Paul and Virginia and the whole family camp experience have been such a vital part of our spiritual growth as a family and individuals.

Iv gone to campus by the sea numerous times through out the years and even worked one summer at the camp and the best thing i could say about this camp is the leadership of Paul and virginia. They were the first faces you saw as you were getting off the boat and the last faces you saw leaving the beautiful island. They were the first ones to personally welcome you to the camp and they engaged couples, families and kids of all ages to walk better with Christ. They understood life is life and hard times come, and that's all the more reason to trust in Him. They led by example and loved to be involved with the campers, not just stand on the sidelines and preach. They played games with the campers, and they held the staff to a high expectation because we were represented the camp and we must act accordingly. They loved the camp. They poured their heart and soul into that camp. It would not be the same camp of Paul and virginia were not there to greet us as we came off the boat.

Regardless of the explanation this demonstrates poor planning by InterVarsity. The children who measure their year by counting down to family camp are devastated. Being able to have at least one more summer would have been acceptable but the way InterVarsity did this is unbelievable.

I have been going to this camp for as long as I can remember and it changed my life. It is the highlight of my year. It pains me to know that I won't get to go this summer.

So sad to know that families will not have the opportunity to experience a camp that centers on how to serve God as a family.

The people I have met from Campus by the Sea will be life-long friends. I talk to them everyday. I had the pleasure of working on program staff for two weeks which has been my dream since I was a baby. I have been going to CBS since i was 4 weeks old and only missed one year. i am 18 years old. the thought that many kids that had the same dream as me will not have that opportunity breaks my heart. CBS has changed many lives and Paul and Virginias teachings have made impacts on people's hearts. In behalf of all the college students, we are heartbroken. heartbroken we won't get the opportunity to be in a small group together as our kids play in the play yard or do the watermelon relay. heartbroken that we might never have the opportunity to be on our "little piece of heaven by the sea" again. God has a much bigger plan though.
