Oskaloosa and the surrounding area depends on the only clothing store left in the area. Our last option is Walmart. Closing this store will be devastating to the retail industry of our community.

I'm elderly and not able to drive to Des Moines or Iowa City. JC Penney's is my "go to" store for so many things. Please reconsider the closing of Oskaloosa store.

The nearest JCPenny will be 1.5 hours away now, which is such an inconvenience when looking to find affordable clothes that are still good quality for a family. I don't want to shop at Walmart as this will be the only other place in Oskaloosa, IA to shop!!!!
