Don is one of the best (if not THE best) announcers In any sport. Don and Jerry have made watching a tough year on the field way more fun than it could've been.

Don Orsillo is an excellent broadcaster. I went to my first Sox game in 1969 and watch 2/3 of the games that are on every summer. This is a big lost. The Sox should be focusing on fixing real problems.

Don is by far the best play by play announcer in baseball period! You must be out of your minds to let him go without a fight and downright stupid if you're firing him!

Please don't get rid of Don. He and Jerry Remy are just as iconic to Red Sox baseball as David Ortiz is. Red Sox commentary will never be the same without either of them. Keep Don where he is.

It's unrealistic to think fans can organize a boycott to stop watching RedSox games. What IS realistic would be to organize an effort to boycott anything being advertised during their games next season. If advertisers were contacted and told RedSox fans will purposely avoid any of their products unless NESN maintained Don and Jerry, THAT might get NESN's attention.

He's an icon with the Red Sox and we'll respected. The ratings are down because of how the team is playing. I still watch and listen even at 77 years old. Been a Red Sox Fan since the mid 40's. Enjoy all of Don's reflections.
