If this is NESN's decision, it's a terrible move. Don Orsillo is one of the finest announcers in MLB and I've heard a number of them. Just another reason to tune out the Sox.

I have to pay to watch the Sox because I am out of the area, and have already canceled my automatic subscription. I only tune in to listen to the Don and Jerry Show because what's on the field has become unwatchable. Eckersley is obnoxious and repeats the same two phrases, in his annoying voice; I always muted or turned the game off when he was on.

I live in Virginia ... MUCH prefer listening/watching the Sox via my MLB.tv subscription with Don&Jerry over listening to others call the game on MLB Network or ESPN!

Don and Jerry are the best. Undoing this team is sheer stupidity . We subscribe to the MLB package just to hear them on NESN since we live in another state and it's the only way to hear them. They make the game interesting and entertaining.

Love watching and listening to Don. He and Jerry are a great combination. I pay to watch the games on the MLS Extra Innings package since I live in Rochester NY. If this isn't Don's decision then shame on you NESN. Bad move.
