I can't believe that you are sticking shiv into Don Orsillo. He does a great job delivering play-by-play of Red Sox games, while keeping things light & entertaining - You are shooting yourselves in the foot (feet) if you let him go. What the Hell are you thinking?

There have been many decisions over the past couple of years in Red Sox Nation that are incomprehensible--think losing Lester and Lackey, gaining Porcello, Kelly, Ramirez, Sandoval, and other useless trash--but firing a beloved, talented, good, decent man who gracefully adjusted to working with every one of Remy's replacements without a complaint is as low as it gets. Shame on everyone involved in jettisoning one of the few bright lights in this beyond dreadful season.

Another serious mistake by corporate big wigs. The more they make the more they loose touch with what people want. It's the Orsillo/Remy team that has kept us watching the Sox during this horrible year.

Don Orsillo has little to do with dismal ratings...perhaps it has more to do with a lackluster (at best) season and poor performance by some of the players. Don Orsillo is handsdown one of the best commentators around. Don's sox are Red!!!

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the ratings are down because the team has played atrocious baseball. the braintrust can't figure this out? Orsillo should stay because he and Remy are the only part of the game that has been good.

NESN's ratings are not down due to Don Orsillo's commentary. It's down due to poor performance of the Red Sox. I watched to enjoy the brilliance that is Don and Jerry banter and baseball coverage. Don is a true gem.

I'm signing this because I think he does a great job. But honestly, if this is how NESN is going to treat him, then he probably doesn't want to stay. So he'll go to another team and become a legend there. He's not the reason ratings are down. The Red Sox are the reason.
