I am an early years practitioner and the difference this service makes to young children is huge. Why close a service that makes such a difference to young children's lives?!!

Wonderful learning skills provided by the team. The support they provided helped my daughter become the bright/outgoing person she is today & words simply aren't enough as to how much this unit helped & how much we apprieceted it.

Good luck, all my three barins went to the language unit at papdale and I agree they need it there. It helped my barins so much with theire speech confidence and much more singed liked and shared for sure. Xx

I'm in New Zealand but nearly all my relatives live in Orkney as both my parents are Orcadians.
Is extremely important please keep it open.

This unit is absolutely wonderful. The staff were wonderful with my grandson, I don't know how he would be without them. They changed his life!

my oldest child was born 9wks early and by the age of 2 could only say one word. He went to the language unit from he was in peschool till p2, and still sees anne leslie. The language unit was absolutly fantastic at helping him talk and correct his speech. I dont know what we would have done without it. I cant believe that anyone is thinking of closing this service, it is desperately needed.

This council wastes money like water on things that should be considered luxuries, but scrimps on things that are required. It is time they got priorities sorted.
