I am curious how anyone opposing this will explain their actions to their grandchildren?

I chose not to take part in the hydroponic experiment. Please make certain organic foods are grown in the soil.

This is an important issue if you buy organic produce or foods. The reducation in standards will eventially render the "organic" label meaningless. In my option the roots of the plants have to be growen in soil! Hydroponic production is not organic....

The USDA represents the PEOPLE of this country, NOT corporations. THE PEOPLE demand "true" soil-grown organic foods! OMIT HYDROPONICS FROM ORGANICS & STOP WATERING DOWN organic's integrity!

I think it's time to start a true organic label and dump the government's label. after all, the government is becoming less trustworthy every day.

Soil is a key component of "organic" agriculture. Stand-up for a principle.

As an organic farmer in the original sense of the word, I strongly feel that hydroponics should be kept out of the definition of organic.

Organic means "grown in non-pesticide soil".... not in water.

Keep organic in organic soil!! Hydroponics need to be labeled as such ..who knows what is in the water used to grow them either
