The most fertile soil in the world comes from volcanic regions and mountainous areas. Starting with fertile soil, and refraining from the use of chemical pesticides is the definition of organically grown agriculture. The natural creation of enriched soil cannot be duplicated by manually force feeding plants suspended in water or air. There is no way way to guarantee that pesticides are not being used by these growers. How can we justify an "organically grown" label for their products? Why not just label them "Hydroponically Grown"?

One of the many reasons to keep the soil in organic is to create and preserve entire healthy ecosystems! That can't be done without a soil-based ecosystem!

As someone who always purchases organic food, I want soil-based organic, not hydroponics. Don't trust USDA label anymore, buy direct from small farms.

If Hydroponics are so great, why don't they stand alone labelled as "Hydroponically Grown", which in Truth, they are. Organic produce and organically raised animals stand in Truth on their label. Why don't Hydroponics stand in Real Truth? Contrary to the official narrative, consumers prefer truth, transparency, accountability. Thank you for your consideration. Please let Hydroponics fly under a banner of Truth, not deception.

I have fruit allergies that stem from the products (soil, water, chemicals aka pesticides) can and will kill me! This standards have to be kept strict by Organic only farmers. No! to any other just affixing a label on produce and killing me! and I have paid the higher cost to insure my health not worry about 'truth in labeling' at a cost of my life!
