I use this path frequently to take my grandchild for a walk and to go to the swings. The alternative is to go back into Rhiwbina and back along the track a route I do not deem necessary with the current path. It is heavily used - I rarely go into the park without seeing someone used it. It is also a good route to Whitchurch and the surrounds and nor is it unsafe - when was the last incident and what was it? It should be kept open

Important access to and from the park for cycles, wheelchairs & pushchairs avoiding the steps. I'm not aware of a single accident on this crossing.

This crossing is heavily used. It is very safe as the trains are infrequent and travel very slowly. Please do not close the crossing.

My children have all used this crossing every day throughout their times at Whitchurch High School as part of their safe route to school. I use it regularly when walking our dog. Never known there to have been an incident at this location although I have been told that some silly children do play "dare" there occasionally - Is this one of the reasons for possible closure? The alternative bridge crossing is unusable for many with disabilities/prams/older dogs and owners etc. It is also a death trap when icy. To take the even longer route to the park down the lane from the top of Pantbach Road is unpleasant due to it being muddy and full of dog poo.

This footpath/crossing is a well-used access for parents/children to a key local recreation facility (playground/sports fields) and must be retained.

I think it's important to keep the crossing open for people to use to get fro. Caedelyn park to Rhiwbina village.

Absolutely not acceptable - it has to be kept open.

Unless Network rail would prefer to erect a sloping (for pushchairs and bicycles etc) bridge-at their expense.....

There's good visibility up and down the track - it's less dangerous than crossing the road!

Regularly used by many people including parents with buggies taking children to school.

Utter nonsense and a blow to accessing the park.

Why on earth would Network rail want to close this crossing? It is used regularly by local residents on foot and bicycles. Please don't close it.

This is the only way my 94 year old mother can access Caedelyn Park as she cannot handle the bridge any more

This crossing is used daily by a number of people. myself included. Please do not remove this as it would cause no end of issues for the neighbouring community. From parents with children and pushchairs to elderly & disabled people.

Closing this will severely inconvenience local residents, particularly those with mobility problems.
