I am a wheelchair user. If this crossing closes what access will Network Rail provide so that I can get to Whitchurch and Rhiwbina stations? This will also impact on parents with pushchairs.

This link should not be closed so many people including self use it on a daily basis. To work and the local primary school - to close it is ridiculous!

Crossing has emotional significance and is very useful to me regularly.

This is an extremely well used crossing providing safe access to all surrounding communities. This crossing is heavily relied on for school routes and commercial shopping areas . Closing this safe crossing limits community walk ways which can increase traffic and car parking issues.

If this pathway were to close it would be an absolute tragedy! I frequent this path on my way to school and also use it to get around Rhiwbina in my free time. I feel closing the path would be more trouble than it's worth, and would in fact would prove to be more dangerous due to the lack of a crossing across the train tracks.

We use this crossing regularly to access the park. Going the long way round with pushchair, bikes , scooters, kids and dog in tow means we won't be going to the park half as often.

As a rugby coach with the local club, most of our players use this crossing regularly, as do many of the local residents

I think it's rediculous that this is even being considered. It's a vital acces route for pupils travelling to and from school which avoids the dangerous main roads. It's also an easy accessible way into the park as the path next to railway station is often slippery, muddy and in the winter icy

This would massively affect Rhiwbina and the wider community. I live in Whitchurch but use this crossing regularly to get to playgroups in Rhiwbina.

It would inconvenience everybody who regularly uses the crossing immensely. Also, if anything, closing the crossing will be MORE dangerous as people may be more inclined to jump over the tracks in order to avoid going the longer way around. Complete nonsense that it is even being considered to be shut (in my opinion).

I use this crossing every day apart from weekends to travel to school and if it were to shut I would have to detour and a longer route would be required. It would be a great hindrance if the crossing were to close. I also use it to walk my dog as this is a very accessible route for her.

We use the crossing an awful lot to make our way to the Taff Trail on our bikes... It's the safest route for the children ... And it teaches the children the dangers of train tracks
